The Fairview Hotel Economy Singles are the least expensive
rooms that are offered. These rooms are small (approx. 170
sq. ft) relative to the other single room alternatives. All
of these rooms have a shower. In addition, these rooms have
a telephone, T.V., safe and are secured by an advanced electronic
key-card system. Moreover, these rooms also enjoy Fairview
Hotel's excellent contingency infrastructure (generator and
water storage facilities).
The Fairview Hotel Economy Double rooms are the least expensive
double rooms that are offered. These rooms all have a shower.
All these rooms have a telephone, T.V., safe and are secured
by an advanced electronic key-card system. All these rooms
have recently been remodeled but are either fairly small or
have a poor view. All these rooms have a telephone, T.V.,
safe and are secured by an advanced electronic key-card system.
Moreover, these rooms also enjoy Fairview Hotel's excellent
contingency infrastructure (generator and water storage facilities).
 The
Fairview Hotel Economy Plus Singles are the
second least expensive room alternative. These rooms are approximately
25% larger than the Basic single (approx. 365 sq. ft). The
beds are larger than the beds in the Economy Rooms. In some
rooms, the view and access to the room is inferior to that
of the Economy Rooms. These rooms all have either a shower
or bath and some have both. All these rooms have a telephone,
T.V., safe and are secured by an advanced electronic key-card
system. Moreover, these rooms also enjoy Fairview Hotel's
excellent contingency infrastructure (generator and water
storage facilities).
The Fairview Hotel Business singles are more expensive than
the Economy Plus single rooms since they are newer and are
more spacious. Some of these rooms have two beds or one large
queen or king size bed. The approximate square footage of
these rooms is 355. A number of these rooms have their own
balcony as well as a wonderful view of a large garden. All
these rooms have a telephone, T.V., safe and are secured by
an advanced electronic key-card system. Moreover, these rooms
also enjoy Fairview Hotel's excellent contingency infrastructure
(generator and water storage facilities).
The Fairview Hotel Business Doubles were
remodeled recently and are materially larger than the Economy
double rooms. Large percentages have both a bath and a shower.
A number of these rooms have their own balcony as well as
a wonderful view of a large garden. All these rooms have a
telephone, T.V., safe and are secured by an advanced electronic
key-card system. Moreover, these rooms also enjoy Fairview
Hotel's excellent contingency infrastructure (generator and
water storage facilities).

were constructed or remodeled recently and offer a five star
experience. All rooms are extremely spacious with large desks,
tremendously large bathrooms (both a shower and a bath), three
telephones and various other standard, 5 star perks such as
a mini-bar, complimentary mineral water on check in, trouser
press etc. Additionally, a number of these rooms have their
own private garden access. These rooms have one king size
bed (the charge is for one person). The approximate square
footage of these room ranges between 310 and 390. All these
rooms have a telephone, T.V., safe and are secured by an advanced
electronic key-card system. Moreover, these rooms also enjoy

and water storage facilities).

 Retaurant
and Dining
As a family-run hotel, one of Fairview Hotel's goals is to
ensure that food is not standard hotel food but rather has
the 'home cooked' touch - tasty, comforting and ample. Fairview
offers a great range of dining alternatives.
Fairview Pwani Pool Restaurant, adjoining the Swimming Pool,
offers a full range of international cuisine in a casual environment.
Its bar is a favorite with residents in the evening.
The Mukutan Garden Café is without a doubt the best
place in Upper Hill (perhaps all of Nairobi) for top-notch
coffees and light/quick meals such as gourmet sandwiches,
pizzas and Quesadillas.
Facilities
Business Center: Recently, Fairview constructed
a Business Centre that offers the following facilities: email,
Internet browsing, computer renting, typing, faxing, photocopying,
shredding and scanning.
Internet Access In The Rooms: Fairview Hotels
has 2 options for guests requiring internet access in the
rooms. The first is wireless access (Wi-Fi). Fairview is presently
rolling out a Wi-Fi network so please check with Reception
to determine whether wi-fi is available in your room. If you
don't have a Wi-Fi card, Fairview will happily sell and install
for you. The second option is a wired Ethernet connection
- unfortunately, only 6 rooms have this option so please request
it during your reservation with African Passion Safaris and
we will be happy to check availability.
Swimming Pool: Another recent addition to
The Fairview is the new hotel swimming pool. Situated behind
the business center the pool is currently for residents only
and is open from 7.00 am to 6.30pm every day. Maintained at
a constant temperature of 28 degrees the new swimming pool
is cleverly designed to resemble the famous Fairview window
- the top semi-circular portion being for kiddies only.
Fitness Gym: The Bridge to Fitness, recently
opened, has a wonderful view of the pool area and contains
2 treadmills, a stepper, rowing machine, basic weights, leg
press, an upper body all in one system and a few others of
the basics. All equipment is manufactured by "Life Fitness".
For the time being, the gym is only open to hotel and Apartment
residents.
